John 4v7-21

Beloved, we might Alove one another, because the love is out of (the) God and every(the)one Aloving has been MorPborn out of (the) God and Aknows1 (the) God.

The one not Aloving, Aknow12a not (the) God because (the) God is love.

In this, the love of (the) God Pmanifest-a in us, that the son of him, the only begotten, (the) God has Asent out into the world, that we might Alive-a through him.

In this, is the love, not that we Alove-a (the) God, but that he Alove-a us and Asend out-a the son of him atonement for the sins of us.

Beloved, if in this way (the) God Alove-a us, we also Aought to Alove one another.

None have MDorPDlooked upon God at any time.  If we (might) Alove one another, (the) God Aabides in us and the love of him, having been MorPcompleted, is in us.

In this, we Aknow1 that in him we Aabide and he in us, because out of the spirit of him, he has Agiven to us.

And we have MDorPDlooked upon and Abear witness that the father has Asent out the son, saviour of the world.

Whoever might Aconfess-a that Jesus is the son of (the) God, (the) God Aabides in him and he in (the) God.

And we have Aknown1 and have Abelieved the love that (the) God Ahas in us.  (The) God is love and the one Aabiding in the love, Aabides in (the) God and (the) God in him.

In this, the love has been MorPcompleted with us that we might Ahave boldness in the day of the judgment, because according as that one is, we also are in this the world.

No fear is in the love but the complete love Acasts out the fear because the fear Ahas punishment.  Moreover, the one MDorPDfearing has not been MorPcompleted in the love.

We Alove him because he first Alove-a us.

If anyone (might) Asay-2a that, “I Alove (the) God,” and might Ahate the brother of him, liar is.  For the one not Aloving the brother of him, whom he has Aseen, how is he Aable to Alove (the) God, whom he has not Aseen.

And this the commandment we Ahave from him, that the one Aloving (the) God might Alove also the brother of him.

The verses above can be summarised by the following love triangle:

  • God first loves us;
  • We in turn are to love God;
  • And we are also to love our brothers.
